Huge turn of events from a few months ago. Hopefully they get way better at PR too. When VSM starts smiling.
Guess this new MIBR also shouldn't play Inferno ever lol. Honestly, this performance is a scathing takedown on Fallen and Co I can't tell if it's the outdated calling or players being shit that held the old team back, but looking at today it clearly isn't Trk or Kng.
This match was bonkers, MIBR could have won against astralis. Really looking forward to see more matches with that new roster.
I wouldn't judge them too much for this inferno, they practiced for 1 week only and were playing against the gods of inferno, Astralis always make others teams look like noobs on inferno.
Yeah thats why I said "in all seriousness". Also astralis haven't looked as good on inferno lately as they did in and Yeah they're not bad per se, just not as dominant, its more like the other teams are catching up.
I know this is only one performance, but I have always thought that these players - trk, kng, felps, even meyern to a degree - have to be better than what they were in MiBR.
I just don't think FalleN knew how to use any of them. Felps is the most obvious one, I think. You can't tell me felps can't hang in T1 when he's a monster in any team besides the core of ex-MiBR.
I also think it was a blessing in disguise that FalleN never got a hold of kscerato or yuurih. I don't think they would have been nearly as good as they are now.
Felps and fer basically played the exact same role when he was on the team, and fer being fallen's butt buddy got to keep all of his positions while felps was moved to all the worst spots for his playstyle.
Tbh, back when they were still under SK fer was legitimately one of the best players in the world, nobody in their right mind would accomodate felps over him.
Fer was the third best player in the world in , he deserved to play where he wanted. The rebuild was the weird one. The team didnn't give time to the players to swap roles and benched Felps.
Maybe it's just me, but I still think those 3 have potential. You know when sometimes people say "it's more than the sum of its parts"?
I think the previous form of MIBR was the opposite, 5 decent players but not working as a team together. But I think they could be valuable to other teams.
Maybe together, maybe not. I think Fallen will try and scout 4 fresh players, probably from Brazil. They're all great players.
Really great. I jsut don't know wtf happened to them the last couple months, but they still absolutely have the potential to be top of the top if they stop dicking around.
I think fallen's career as an IGL is done. He would have to dig super deep to find four Brazilian players willing to play under him. TACO is also definitely done.
You really think that about fallen lol? Dude, TACO is so good at his position. Is just that in his roll he can't frag out.
So many don't really know how good he's. I really hope he gets a lot of offers. And it looks he is getting it.
Against the top 20 teams, the only people who have worse stats than TACO are MSL, Karrigan, Neo, and Zeus.
His role is nothing unique and tons of players play it yet his stats are abysmal and it comes from the fact he just does not win that many aim duels.
Nice try by MIBR, they showed a lot of hunger. They manage to create and represent the hype, im enjoying how Cogu is being present in the social medias and getting in contact with the fans and showing how hard everybody is working.
I think the result doesn't even matter that much in the end, the match was so entertaining and it's crazy that MIBR even put up such a fight under these circumstances.
I wonder if that's the reason why they played so well? Iow: hard to prep against a new roster, see how they play, rotate and react to different scenarios.
Apart from inferno this was a pretty good series from MIBR. I hope they stay together for a little while.
I guess the fatigue got to them, but a very valiant performance from this new MIBR side,it shows that KNG and trk really weren't the issues in that previous roster.
I know.. He really had some good performance while playing to set up the other 3. Excited to see more of that lineup.
At Inferno Astralis's tactics and experienced showed up, MIBR lost basically every single opening frag and didn't give any space for them to get back at those rounds.
After 2 hours of warming down. I think Astralis took time to get their heads into vertigo. But nuke, mibr just played very well.
MIBR good again. Trk and KNG are nuts again without Fallen, Fer and Taco, which is a great sign for this team.
Kng redemption arc almost there. From being hated by the community and fired by Noah, to leading a new mibr into tier 1 again.
Happy that trk can show he's a good player after getting the mibr treatment with fallen and co. A nice try and overall good performance from MIBR, kng and trk look SO much better without fallen ngl.
VSM was having really good impact too. I really didn't expect MIBR to take Nuke of all maps. Props to them, it was better than I expected considering they had a week's worth of training.
Man this MIBR roster looks so much better. This seriously could have been a for them. I'm legitimately excited to see more of them.
Hopefully they can keep up and improve this form. They do seem promising. I know, yeah, and against one of the best teams in the world.
But I don't really like mibr Inferno history lol. For the ones saying MIBR cant Inferno even now. From what I know about the game, you really need good strats to have inferno.
It was expected that a new team doesnt have 7 executes and 6 retakes ready to go in a shiny notebook. You can also disagree that inferno is not strat heavy..
I mean, I dont really know what I am saying here.. That was great from MIBR, the stand-ins showing they are willing to get their act together, and most importantly: respecting the MIBR supporters by giving their best.
Of course, the tactics, mainly on Inferno, looked uninspired, but that was to be expected considering the team has been practicing together for less than a month.
Expected playstyle given the time they had. Great showing from MIBR, can't wait to see them tomorrow. Hope they survive at least one more day.
Last round device's bm had me fucking dying. Almost as good as his bm against Coldzera on Nuke couple of months ago.
The second map was Nuke, Astralis' pick, which after a heated back and forth ended , in favor of the Brazilian squad. Equalized at , it all came down to Inferno.
On the last map of the series, Astralis was off to a strong start, leading at half time. And in the end, it was a Danish victory, as the boys clinched the victory , and took home the series , after a stunning performance during the second half.
What a scary Halloween match. Bem jogado mibr. While the excitement of finally meeting a non-European team after months of European in-house fighting was immense, the Astralis vs.
MiBR match was quite special for not just one, but two other reasons as well. And as if the return of the original Astralis five wasn't enough, the opening map, Vertigo, was also Astralis' map nr.
The team celebrated the occasion quite fittingly, winning the map and the match. The match day hype reached far and wide, and created quite the Twitter spectacle, with the entire match sporting bilingual coverage in both English and Portuguese, to accommodate the Brazilian fans.
There was also a significant profile picture bet on the line, which introduced the world to a pretty iconic 'Brazilian dev1ce', which will now be displayed in all its glory on MiBR's official Twitter channel.
All right here is the deal: If mibr wins Monday, we'll use vsmzin as our profile picture for 24 hours!
If we win, they'll use a Brazilian dev1ce as a profile picture. BLASTPremier pic.
